Receiving Supply Orders

As your inventory supply gets low, you'll order more supply. When the orders come in you need to receive those units into inventory to keep your counts accurate. For example, if you have 10 water bottles on hand and you order 10 more, you'll receive those units at a specific site and those units on hand will be increased from 10 to 20.

To learn how to receive supply orders, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Inventory Management activity in the sidebar menu. If you don't see it, remember that you may need to be granted permissions from HR.

2. Click on the Inventory tab along the top. Search for the product you want to receive an order for and filter the results by site. When you have found the right product at the right site, click on the Action dropdown, and select Receive Supply Order.

3. The window will open up. Enter the relevant information into the form and click Receive.

4. The units on hand for the site will be update with the new quantity. To see a history of all orders received, click on Supply Orders in the Product Histories area.
