eCommerce Transactions
Report Guide for Users
What this report shows, the choices you make when running it, and how to read each section.
What this report is for
The eCommerce Transactions report lists every purchase made through your online store(s) within a date range, including the customer, what they bought, and how much of the charge is recognized as sales revenue versus held as an accrual or liability (for example, a deposit or prepaid balance that hasn't been earned yet).
How the report works
The report pulls every online transaction within your date range at the website(s), product(s), and location(s) you select, and splits the results into two categories based on how each line item is recognized in your accounting:
- Credit Sales – the portion of a purchase recognized as sales revenue.
- Accruals & Liabilities – the portion of a purchase held as an accrual or liability rather than recognized as revenue right away (for example, funds tied to something that hasn't been used or delivered yet).

How to read the layout
The report is split into two sections, each grouped by Transaction Id with a Total row: Credit Sales first, followed by Accruals & Liabilities. A row for a given transaction will only appear in the section matching how that portion of the sale is currently recognized.
At the top of the report, a Summary box gives you three quick totals: total Credit Sales, total Accruals & Liabilities, and the combined Total across both.
