Creating/Editing Categories

Categories are the groupings of products.  Products are organized into categories on reports and also on the register.

1. To create a category, select Add Category on the Product tab in the Register Management Activity. Select Edit Category to edit an existing category.  The process of adding and editing categories is the same.

2. To upload a photo, drag it over the box or click on the box and then open up the file. This picture will display on the register.

There are several options on the left that you can use to edit the picture.  The picture will be resized to a square and may look distorted if you don't resize it first. After you are satisfied with your edits, select Save at the top left hand corner. Then select submit.

3. Type the category name, description, keep active marked, and click Add.
