A guest's SMS and email marketing preferences can be managed by both employees via the employee portal and guests via the guest portal. Note that though this feature could be utilized with a third-party email and SMS marketing platform, updates to guest preferences would need to be updated manually in the third-party platform.
Marketing preferences are split into channels, which let you organize your email content into categories — such as newsletters, birthday gifts and promotions, or membership offers — so subscribers can choose exactly what they want to hear about. When guests manage their preferences, they opt in or out of individual topics rather than unsubscribing from all your emails entirely. The result is a healthier list, fewer unsubscribes, and more engaged subscribers who only receive content they actually want.
Note; SMS and Email communications that are transactional in nature (such as booking confirmations, receipts, etc. cannot be opted out of).
