Asset List
Report Guide for Users
What this report shows, the choices you make when running it, and how to read each section.
What this report is for
The Asset List report gives you a simple listing of your active assets — equipment, fixtures, or other tracked items — along with their type, status, barcode, and location. It's useful for a quick inventory of what assets exist and where they are.
How the report works
The report lists every active, non-deleted asset that matches the asset type(s), status(es), and location(s) you select. There's no date range involved — it always reflects your current assets.
The choices you make when running it
These are the settings available. Everything else is calculated automatically.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Asset Type | Choose one or more asset types to include. Leave all selected to include every type. |
| Asset Status | Choose one or more statuses to include (for example, in service or out for repair). Leave all selected to include every status. |
| Location | Choose one or more locations to include. Leave all selected to include every location. |
Columns on the report
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Asset Id | The internal identifier for the asset. |
| Asset Name | The name of the asset. |
| Asset Type | The type the asset is categorized under. |
| Status | The asset's current status. |
| Barcode | The asset's barcode, pulled from whichever of its barcode fields has a value. Shows "-" if no barcode is on file. |
| Location | The location the asset is assigned to. |
How to read the layout
The report is a straightforward flat list, one row per asset matching your filters, with an "- END -" marker at the bottom to confirm you've reached the end of the list.
