Payment By Register Detail Report

Payment By Register Detail Report

Report Guide for Users

What this report shows, the choices you make when running it, and how to read each section.

What this report is for

The Payment By Register Detail Report breaks down every payment received within a date/time range by register and payment type — cash, credit, gift card, stored value, and other tender — along with any returns. It's useful for reconciling what was collected at each register.

This report is based on payments that fall within your selected range. The Register Management report is based on transactions that fall within a date range instead, so the two reports can show different totals if a transaction and its payment happened on different days.

How the report works

The report totals every payment received during the date and time range you set, organized by register, and further broken down by transaction and payment type. You can also narrow it down to specific registers.

The choices you make when running it

These are the settings available. Everything else is calculated automatically.

End Hour / Minute / SecondThe exact time of day the range should end on your End Date. Defaults to the very end of the day (23:59:59).
