Employee Commission Report
Report Guide for Users
What this report shows, the choices you make when running it, and how to read each section.
What this report is for
The Employee Commission Report lists membership and payment plan sales by the employee who made the sale, so you can use it as a basis for calculating employee commissions.
How the report works
The report pulls every membership sale — both payment plan purchases and one-time membership sales — with a purchase date in the range you select, along with the employee credited with the sale.
The choices you make when running it
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Start Date | The beginning of the date range you want to report on, based on the purchase date. |
| End Date | The end of the date range you want to report on, based on the purchase date. |
| Location | Choose one or more locations. This currently only displays in the report header for reference — it does not narrow down which sales are included. |
This report also includes Date Field, Pay Plan Type, Membership Package, Payplan Status, and Membership Status parameters on the run screen, but as of this BETA release none of them currently filter the results — every membership and payplan sale in your Start Date/End Date range is included regardless of how these are set.
Columns on the report
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Existing Plan ID | The internal identifier for the payment plan, if the sale was a payplan purchase. Blank for one-time membership sales. |
| Employee Name | The employee credited with the sale. Shows "n/a" if no employee is on record for the transaction. |
| Guest Name | The guest who purchased the membership. |
| Register Name | Where the sale was made. |
| Membership Package Name | The membership package sold. |
| Sales Price | The price of the sale. |
| Date Of Purchase | When the sale was made. |
| Month of Purchase / Year of Purchase | The month and year the sale falls in, broken out for easier sorting/grouping. |
| Count of Terms | For payplan purchases, how many membership terms have run under that plan. Blank for one-time membership sales. |
| Status | For payplan purchases, the plan's current real-time status (Active, Cancelled, Expired, or Past Due). Shows "N/A" for one-time membership sales. |
| Cancellation Reason | If the plan was later cancelled or modified, the reason recorded for that change, where available. |
How to read the layout
Each row is one sale — either a payment plan purchase (identified by an Existing Plan ID) or a one-time membership sale. Since a payplan's status and term count reflect its current state rather than its state on the purchase date, a payplan sold within your date range may show a status like Cancelled or Expired if something has changed with it since the original purchase.
