Banning Guest Using the Guest Flag Option

The Guest Flag option provides a simple and effective way to identify and restrict guests who may pose a risk to your business or violate your policies. By flagging a guest, your team can easily recognize restricted individuals, prevent future bookings or interactions as needed, and maintain a safe and positive experience for both staff and customers. This article explains how to use the Guest Flag option to ban a guest and manage guest restrictions within the system.
  1. First, navigate to Guest Management > Accounts and search for the guest you want to flag.
  2. Then, locate the guest within the account and click Edit.
  3. Now, in the Edit Guest section, scroll down and select the Flag option.
  4. Next, enter the reason for flagging the guest and click Save.
  5. Finally, whenever this guest is added to a transaction, a red flag notification will appear, indicating that the guest has been flagged or banned. This alert helps staff quickly identify the guest and take the appropriate action in accordance with your organization's policies.
