Configure a Membership Package to Make Reservations of Session Products

Let's say that your membership entitles the member to an admission, but instead of having the member just show up and check in, either for operational reasons or to avoid over booking, you still want them to reserve a time slot (ie. session product).  You can configure their membership package to allow the member to make session product reservations at no cost:
  1. First, open the membership settings in Membership Packages. In this example, we will use the 10 Punch Pass membership.
  2. Then, go to the next page called Membership Entitlements, and go to the Reservation Products section. Click on the +Add Session Product button. image.png
  3. Choose which session product you want to associate with this membership. All session products you created in Register Management will be visible in the drop-down. Click on the Add option to proceed.
  4. Next, click on Configure Rules to set the rules applicable to all session products you want to add to the settings.
    • Days Valid - the days you can allow your members to reserve the session products
    • Slots Per Day - the max number of reservations that a member can make per day or per week, depending on the option you choose. (Setting this to 0 makes it unlimited)
    • Max Time Per Day - the max number of minutes that a member can reserve per day or per week, depending on the option you choose. (Setting this to 0 makes it unlimited)
    • Who Can Reserve - limits the reservation to members of the account in Guest Management or whether a member can book a guest not included on their account.
    • Custom Notice for Customers  - a note visible to the customer (example: you can only reserve 2 session time slots per day, and you can only reserve sessions for guests under your account)
  5. Now click the Save button to proceed.
  6. Once you have added the session products, you can choose Override Rules if you have different rules for each session product, overriding the ones you have set in Configure Rules.
  7. Finally, click the Submit button to proceed.
The membership package is now configured to allow members to reserve sessions in the webstore

Existing reservations can be managed in Will Call alongside all other session products.
