Setting Date Range for Online Session Products

For session products sold on eCommerce, you can set the start and end date range so your customers only see specific dates available to select times. This is useful for limited date events, or one-time events. Here's how to do it:

  1. First, go to the eCommerce > Products page, and edit the session product you are selling online. If you need more help, check out our articles for Creating / Editing a Session Product and Adding Products in eCommerce.eCommerce_Session_Default_Time_1.png

  2. Then, check the box for Restrict Session Dates, and set the Start Date and End Date for the session product. In this example, when customers go online to buy the product, they will only be able to pick dates within this range.eCommerce_Session_Default_Time_2.png

  3. To test this, you can go to the web store portal and click the session product. You will notice that the start date by default shows May 1, 2022, which is the start date in the range. Normally the session product loads today's date by default, but in this case, the default selected date will be today's date, or the start date of the range, whichever is later.eCommerce_Session_Default_Time_3.png

  4. Finally, when viewing the datepicker dates, you'll see that it only shows dates within the restricted range. eCommerce_Session_Default_Time_4.png
