The Growth Marketing Module lets you send campaigns to different recipients depending on your goals. A data source is essentially the “where” your marketing information comes from. Think of it as the foundation that enables you to send your message to the right person.
Available Data Sources and Campaign Examples
Guest Account
Select this data source when you want to send one message per guest account or household. Common use-cases:
- Newsletter blasts - Stay top-of-mind with your customers by sending traditional newsletters that highlight promotions, events, and updates. Great for ongoing engagement and seasonal campaigns.
Guest
Select this data source when you want to send one message per individual guest. Common use-cases:
- Birthday Party Booking Campaigns - Leverage the birthday data you have garnered from waivers to automatically promote birthday party packages. Schedule reminders at key intervals (e.g., 60, 45, 30 days in advance) to drive bookings. See how Heroes Paradise generated over $70k in automated birthday revenue.
- Birthday gift campaigns - Surprise guests with a birthday gift (like a $5 gift card) to encourage a visit. These offers often lead to group visits, increasing overall spend, engagement, and goodwill. You can employ the same concept for customer anniversaries to commemorate the day they became a customer.
Membership
Select this data source to target only guests with memberships, whether current or expired. Waivers are treated as memberships in Aluvii, and can be included or excluded in membership data source campaigns. Common use-cases:
- Member-exclusive communications, promotions, loyalty rewards, and updates - follow the steps to setup a newsletter blast, but instead of the guest account data source, select the membership data source.
- Membership renewal campaigns - Reach out to members before their membership expires with incentives to encourage them to renew their membership before it ever expires.
- Expired membership campaigns - Re-engage customers whose memberships have lapsed by encouraging them to renew with reminders or special offers.
- Waiver renewal reminders - Reach out to members whose waivers are expiring or have expired to encourage re-signing a waiver before their next visit.
- Guest photo update requests - Request that guests who have not updated their guest photo within a time frame that you designate login to the guest portal to update their guest photo to have it done before the start of the next season.
- Special instructions or welcome information to members who recently purchased a specific membership.
Booking
Select this data source to reach guests who have event bookings, including past, present, or future events. Common use-cases:
- Booking confirmation and thank-you emails sent shortly after a booking is created
- Event reminders and instructions on how to pay
- Pre-event guidance including detailed next steps, best-practices, and recommendations in preparing for the upcoming event
- Post-event communications such as thank-you's, feedback requests, survey links, and online reviews
- Repeat Bookings - Marketing to guests who have booked in the past to encourage repeat bookings
Visit (Coming Next)
Select this data source for guests who have visited your facility. Common use-cases:
- Bounce-back offers - Encourage recent visitors to return by sending a limited-time offer shortly after their visit. This is a simple and effective way to increase visit frequency.
- Thank-you messages - Reinforce positive experiences by sending a thank-you message after a visit, purchase, or booking. This builds goodwill and strengthens customer relationships.
- Post-visit surveys - Gather valuable feedback by asking customers about their experience shortly after their visit. Use this data to improve operations and customer satisfaction.
- Post-visit requests for online reviews - Automatically request reviews from customers after a visit or purchase while ensuring only 5-star reviews are posted publicly. Guests are prompted to leave a 1–5 star rating—those who provide a 5-star review feedback are directed to Google, Yelp, or Facebook to leave their review, while those who provided 4-stars or less are prompted to share private feedback that only you and your team can see.
Payment Plans (Coming Soon)
Select this data source to reach guests on recurring membership payment plans. Common use-cases:
- Failed payment alerts to members to encourage them to update payment methods
- Failed payment alerts to internal team members for follow-up and save efforts
Campaign Interaction (Coming Soon)
Select this data source when you want to message guests based on how they interacted with previous campaigns. Common use-cases:
- Resend a promotion to customers who didn’t open the original email or reward those who clicked through
Abandoned Cart (Coming Soon)
Select this data source to reach guests who added items to their cart but didn’t complete a purchase. Common use-cases:
- Recover lost revenue by sending reminder emails or SMS messages. Encourages customers to complete their purchase with a gentle nudge or limited-time offer.
